Guys! Wanting to feel more energetic, stronger, and more virile? Keep reading!
Energy down? Not feeling the spark you used to? Are you gaining weight or having trouble building muscle, no matter how hard you work out at the gym? Are you experiencing less than stellar performance in the bedroom? Are you thinking it’s that you’re just stressed and working too hard? Maybe or maybe not. Most importantly, this doesn’t have to be your normal state! No matter what your age, male hormone balance is critical to your well being, overall health, and quality of life.
Here are a few questions most of our clients ask:
Q: How do I know if hormone therapy will work?
A: First, we’ll start with lab tests so that we’re working with your current hormone state. Dr. Mitch Roodvoets will walk you through the lab test results and compare where you’re at to what might work better for you. Then, you can decide whether to proceed or not.
Q: I’m a male in my 30s. Isn’t that a bit young for hormone therapy?
A: We’re all individuals so every body is different. It’s in your 30s when your hormones do start to change so it’s always good to have a benchmark to compare to as you get older. You may or may not need a little help with balance but being informed is the most important aspect of holistic medicine. If you’re thinking of starting a family, this is the perfect time to come in for a hormone evaluation.
Q: If my testosterone is low, does that mean the only way to increase it is to use testosterone?
A: No, we can work with you to get your body to be able to produce adequate levels of testosterone without needing to directly replace testosterone.
Q: Once I start testosterone therapy, does this mean I have to stay on it my whole life?
A: Not necessarily, we will work with you on your goals to ensure the best quality of life whether or not you want to stay on testosterone replacement therapy.
